'Hello Herman' new movie starring Norman Reedus

Good news! Fans of
Norman Reedus will not have to wait until October’s 4th Season of The Walking Dead to see Reedus on screen again. Reedus portrays a new character named Lax in Michelle Danner’s eagerly anticipated and controversial movie titled ‘Hello Herman’.

‘Hello Herman’ was originally premiered to a sold out crowd at the Hollywood Film Festival in October 2012; on May 12 the film will be internationally premiered at the Monaco Charity Film Festival. Due to the mature content of the film as well as the appearance of red-hot actor Reedus, ‘Hello Herman’ will open on June 7, 2013 in selected cities nationwide with simultaneous availability on View-on-Demand in over 100 million homes.
According to the official ‘Hello Herman’ website, the movie is “Set in the not so distant future, in Any Town USA, sixteen year old Herman Howards makes a fateful decision. He enters his suburban school and kills thirty nine students, two teachers, and a police officer. Just before his arrest he emails his idol, famous journalist Lax Morales, sending him clips of the shootings captured with Herman’s own digital camera. In the clips Herman tells Lax, “I want to tell my story on your show”. Lax, haunted by his own past, is now face to face with Herman. The movie explores why and how a massacre like this can happen in our society, desensitizing in America, youth violence and bullying, the impact the media has on our individual quest for fame, and ultimately our need for connection."
The film has an Educator Outreach component which encourages parents and teachers to explore the bullying theme prevalent within the movie, and to use the film to promote an open and honest discussion with students about the long-range impact of bullying.
Look for release dates for the movie on local pay-per-view channels.
