Norman Reedus Crossbow Training For 'The Walking Dead' Did Not Go Well At First: Watch His Hilarious Early Attempts

Norman Reedus portrays the bad-ass zombie killing Daryl Dixon on AMC's "The Walking Dead," but apparently the role was difficult to adjust to. Reedus was recently on Conan and discussed with the host his trials and tribulations of learning how to use Dixon's weapon, the crossbow. Reedus underwent an enormous amount of training with the weapon in order to effectively play the role of Dixon, who is a Georgia born hunter and tracker. And apparently the early training sessions did not go so well, Conan O'Brien's expert team of detective dug up some old footage of Reedus' early days of a zombie hunter and things look grim for the Hollywood actor.
And while the video is hilarious, we are not buying it for a second. Even though the clip is a gag for his interview on Conan, we don't think his first days with the crossbow were anything nearly as bad.Reedus' most notable role aside from "The Walking Dead" is his role in "Boondock Saints" and "Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day." In the cult-classic film, Reedus portrays Murphy McManus, the Irish gun slinging vigilante who recites a Catholic pray before pulling the trigger. So for some reason, I assume the Reedus himself is a weapons master bad-ass, anyone else agree?
