The Walking Dead Season 5: Norman Reedus Teases "Amazing Stuff" on Set

Filming for Season 5 of The Walking Dead just began on Monday, May 5, and the cast wasted no time getting down to business and getting back to work. Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee) and Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) already went on a joint golf outing, and Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) quickly tweeted about “Day 1”.
According to showrunner Scott Gimple, the cast “crushed” their first day and we didn’t expect anything less.
Season 5 has continued shooting through the rest of the week (and we’ll likely run through much of November) and by all accounts things are still running smoothly. In fact, Norman once again took to his Twitter to give us a little Season 5 update. On the evening of May 8 he wrote, “goodnight everyone. amazing stuff today on set. whoa! (thank you guys for all coming out to say hi to us. the best .)”
Sure, we have no idea what this “amazing stuff” entails, but since the cast and crew are still filming the Season 5 premiere, we can only hope that this tease and the accompanying “whoa” has something to do with the group formally known as Team Prison’s likely escape from Terminus.
Scott has said it would be hard for the Season 5 opener to not pick up where the Season 4 finale left off (with nearly everyone we trapped in that train car) and we’re pretty positive the group will escape at some point, so why not in the premiere?

Do you think the “amazing stuff” Norman previewed has something to do with a Terminus escape, or are we jumping the gun? Tell us your thoughts and theories below!
