The Walking Dead: Norman Reedus Says Season 4, Episode 1 Is Huge
In late April, Comicbook.com reported that several members of the cast and crew of The Walking Dead had traveled to Georgia to begin production work on The Walking Dead season 4. Norman Reedus, Gale Anne Hurd, and Greg Nicotero were all reported to be part of this mysterious Georgia meet-up. We also reported that Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman revealed that the writing staff was back at work for season 4.
So what have the cast, crew and writers been working on?
While we acknowledged at the time it could be simple location scouting going on in Georgia, it appears that at least a script for Season 4, Episode 1 has been completed.
Norman Reedus tweeted, “sorry Dallas love u guys. episode one is huge. I promise you’ll freakout. gonna be SO GOOD.” Reedus also tweeted a photo of himself and Greg Nicotero, while adding, “ep 1 is gonna RULE.”
The reason Norman Reedus is apologizing to Dallas is that he was originally scheduled to be at Texas Frightmare this weekend, but he had to cancel because AMC called him in early for season 4 rehearsals. The plan initially announced for The Walking Dead season 4 was that filming wouldn’t start until May 6, which would have allowed Reedus to make the date. However, as Comicbook.com reported, things have been moving faster than anticipated.
